Arte Antwerp is a Belgian brand founded in 2018 in Antwerp by brothers Glenn and Thomas Van De Velde. Antwerp is a city with a special place in fashion culture: it was here that the "Antwerp Six" was born — a group of designers (Martin Margiela, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester) who changed the language of fashion in the 80s. Arte Antwerp draws from this heritage but speaks the language of streetwear.
The brand's key signature is the Arte bird. This distinctive illustrated bird appears on T-shirts, socks, shirts, and accessories and has become as recognizable as the logo of any major brand. But Arte doesn't stop at one symbol: each collection introduces new graphic motifs — abstract prints, crochet textures, geometry, and color blocks.
