Post Archive Faction (PAF) is a South Korean conceptual brand founded in 2018. The brand's creative director is Dongjoon Lim, who holds a degree in industrial design and has experience in the IT industry. Together with Sukyo Chung, he created a unique aesthetic that combines fashion, technology, and an apocalyptic vision of the future.
The brand's design is deconstructive, asymmetrical, and experimental, utilizing technical fabrics and transparent materials. PAF uses a numerical system, reminiscent of software, to name its collections. They divide them into traditional "versions" that encompass three directions: right (traditional model), centrist (intermediate), and left (radical), resembling a political spectrum. These represent different stages of conceptual exploration – from classic forms to the boldest experiments.
The brand was nominated for the prestigious LVMH Prize and has collaborated with, among others, Off-White, Gentle Monster, On Running, and District Vision, which highlights its status as one of the most interesting voices in contemporary fashion.
