Founded in Paris in 2008, the brand côte&ciel (meaning "coast and sky") combines industrial design, fashion, and innovation. Its founder, German designer Stephan Wembacher, began his career by developing accessories for Apple, including cases for the first iPods. Collaborations with companies such as Apple, BMW, and Porsche shaped his pursuit of excellence in design and functionality.
The brand's lead designer is Emilie Arnaud, who, since the founding of côte&ciel, has been creating accessories that blend form and function. Her approach is based on an intuitive understanding of materials and their natural properties, allowing for the creation of organic and ergonomic shapes.
Every côte&ciel model is the result of in-depth research into materials, forms, and functionality. The use of innovative fabrics, such as EcoYarn, ensures the water resistance and durability of the products.
