New Balance is an American company founded in Boston in 1906. For over 115 years, the brand, unlike most competitors, still produces some of its footwear in the USA and the UK. This is not a marketing ploy: the factories in Massachusetts and Flimby genuinely exist, and "Made in USA" on the sole means exactly what it says.
New Balance long remained a brand for runners and parents buying comfortable shoes.
