Founded in 1946, Japanese company Casio produces calculators, musical instruments, projectors and other electronics, but its watches are the most prized object for anyone involved in street culture. Casio released its first electronic watch back in 1974. In 1983 the legendary G-Shock model was first introduced. This release was preceded by years of development and testing. The Casio brand has tested more than 200 prototypes before creating a watch that could withstand a fall from a 10 meters height, a 10 bar pressure and 10 years of uninterrupted work using a one single battery. G-Shock watches still amaze us with their technology and versatility. More accurately, they just shock us.
